My “Fashion Day Out” in Baltimore (2010)

On Friday, September 10, Fashion Night Out in NYC and in other parts of the world happened.

The following day, I woke up early around 9 a.m. to experience my own “Fashion Day Out” in my hometown.

The first stop I made was to Holly G Boutique for their 3rd Anniversary in the Mt. Washington Mill and to talk to Karmen Fox, the manger of Holly G, about fashion.

As we talked about Spring 2011 collections at New York Fashion Week, we agreed that Jason Wu‘s collection is the best so far.

Besides that, Fox gave me a quick tour of all the cute items Holly G had just got in for Fall 2010.

The next stop I made was to Doll House Boutique for their largest trunk show ever and for their sixth anniversary. I had my eye on a few pieces especially the lace top and leather skirt. Just take a look below to see how Doll House Boutique celebrated:

Weekend Catwalk: Celebrating NY Fashion Week Spirit in Baltimore

If you can’t make it to NY Fashion Week, you can always find ways to celebrate the spirit of it in your hometown.  This weekend I am attending two fashionable events

On Saturday, September 11, Doll House boutique is having their largest trunk show ever. The lovely ladies of Doll House is celebrating our six year anniversary fashion showcase from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The actual showcase will start at 3 p.m.

Holly G Boutique is turning 3 years old on Saturday, September 11. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Holly G is celebrating their third anniversary with champagne and hors d’euvres. Guess what, all fall fashions will be discounted including French Connection, Free People, Ellelauri, and Alternative Apparel.

Weekend Catwalk Part One: Holly G Boutique’s fashion show

The Holly G boutique is having their first fashion show ever at the Mount Washington Mill on Saturday, May 22 at 12 p.m.

This isn’t your regular fashion show with a name like “Fashion Hound”.

Models will be walking down the runway in fashions from Holly G along with cute doggies in clothes from Dogma.

Other things happening include:

Mt. Washington Wine Company will have a wine tasting from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

At Dogma , you can meet  Baltimore author Michael Paul. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., he will be signing his book, The Adventures of Tiller and Turnbuckle.

After 1 p.m., the winners of raffle prizes will be announced and all the proceeds from the raffles will go to B.A.R.C.S.

Come to the Mill this weekend to support our four legged friends and to grab some hot new fashions from Holly G.
