Jade Greer has created an original Hampden jewel. K Staton is a boutique where trendy plus-size fashions are hand picked by a woman that knows style.
On Saturday, September 10, the Hampden boutique once located inside Lynne’s Gift will be having a Grand Opening at its new location 1007A West 36 Street.
“I felt that this [Lynne’s Gift] would be a great location for us to grow and make a name for ourselves,” Greer said. Our plan was to always expand.
The only thing was we did not know when. The space that we were in was a small space,but just right for us at the time. Now with more and more women knowing about us we needed the larger space.”
The boutique’s new home directly across from the famous Café Hon brings the debut of two lingerie brands Elomi and Goddess as well as new apparel brands LaDan’s Closet and Kische.
Aside from gorgeous new brands, Jade will offer her FIT 101 classes that offer tips about feeling comfortable and great in the outfits her customers wears.
In the midst of moving K Staton, I was able to talk to the owner about why she loves her boutique and her favorite trends for fall 2011.
